We are proud to announce the recent completion of the new Orangutan Odysseys web site. Orangutan Odysseys offer fantastic trips to Indonesia and Borneo to visit these endangered creatures. The site aims to help you to make an informed decision when planning you Orangutan adventure.

Expeditions are described as either family friendly or more hard core for those who are adventurers, what type of transport is used and what is the accommodation like. We also detail the activities available at each location and also, and most importantly, how you are helping to protect the Orangutans environment.

Ecommerce Tip of the Week..

Don't charge for delivery!
With the strength of the Aussie dollar, buying online from overseas retailers has become very attractive for Australian consumers. However, when you look closely at the risks posed by buying offshore, often something as simple as offering free delivery is enough to convince the customer to buy from a local online provider.

Many online consumers have had (or know someone who has had) a bad experience buying offshore. The most common complaints are about damaged or faulty goods.. or goods not arriving at all. As a result, many consumers will happily pay a little bit more for the same product locally, if they know they will be able to communicate with the supplier in 'real time' if there is an issue.

Of course price is still going to be the most significant factor influencing the consumers decision to buy, but by offering free delivery the gap between the cost of purchasing offshore versus locally can be significantly reduced, and often in the case of 'big ticket' or valuable items where delivery by registered post or insurance is required, the cost savings can actually make the local purchase cheaper than the overseas offering...

PPA Promo Web Site launched

The web site itself is essentially a standard deployment of our CMS, with the addition of a Promo Management Module (see 3 pods on home page), and a dynamic Frameset Manager to allow PPA to display their suppliers sites while maintaining their main menu bar on screen.
